These are some of the children and adults of the Mayan families that are waiting in our Annex (below our apartments) for their parents to come out of the Temple.  We have a wonderful missionary couple that gather them together and teach and keep the occupied for a while.

The children are so beautiful!

Even the young siblings carry the younger ones on their backs.

Some of the older ones do not even speak Spanish.  They have many Mayan dialects that are used.

Here are a few pictures of the beginning of the rainy season in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala

The sky changes so quickly as the storms move through!

A view down over the city and valley.  The tent is a revival group that has been here for over a month and we hear the megaphone every evening up here in our apartment.  Don't know what they are yelling but they are loud!

Some of the homes and buildings as we traveled to Huehuetenango to speak at their Sunday Meetings.

Way up in the mountains there are many poor Mayans.

These are homes, many have businesses they run out of part of their homes.

Some of the streets are very challenging!!!

They have both adobe and block homes.
